Book Review-The Great Gatsby(180pgs)(q-3)

F. Scott Fitzgerald, the author of this book, paints a vivid picture of the nineteen- twenties. This novel is about love, in a time when liquor, and sex are the only national pastimes. This time period was known as the jazz age. Jay Gatsby, Fitzgerald's wealthy main character, spends his life trying to win back the girl he lost when he was young. At long last, he finally gets close enough to her, but their reckless behavior leads to tradgedy. This story shows how no matter how they tried, the characters could not conquer the time period in which they lived. I recomend this book to anyone.
